The San Bernardino Microwave Society will meet Thursday July 7, 2022 (07/08/22 0200 UTC) at the American Legion Hall in Corona, California (1024 Main Street, 92882) and on Zoom.

This month's Technical Talk is by Brian AF6NA, "The End of the Microwave Tune Up Era."

SBMS has lost access to Fairview Park in Costa Mesa where the Tune Up was held for many years.  Brian's presentation will document the history of the Tune Up, how it was done, and some of the results.  He will conclude with some ideas about how to move forward with a similar annual activity as we prepare for the 10 GHz contest season each summer.  The intent is to foster a productive discussion about the sorts of things we might do in the future to test, compare, and qualify our microwave rigs.  Please think about this and bring your ideas to the discussion.

We will also have Activity Reports as usual, especially concerning the ongoing California to Hawaii attempts, California Arizona QSOs on Saturday July 2, and Home-To-Home Wednesday evening July 6.
