The San Bernardino Microwave Society will meet at the American Legion Hall in Corona, CA (1024 S. Main St. 92882) at 1900 Pacific Time (12/03/21 0300 UTC). All are welcome. For those unable to attend in person a Zoom link is provided below.
Those arriving in Corona ahead of peak traffic stop by Sizzler (1461 Rimpau Ave. 92879) for an early dinner, HOWEVER, save room for pie dessert at the regular meeting place later.
No Business Meeting or Technical Talk is planned for this month but in lieu of Activity Reports I will lead a brief, informal group discussion and survey of the membership guided by these questions:
1. What activity did you get into amateur for or what was your first amateur activity?
2. What year were you first licensed? (Elmer, if applicable?)
3. How did you get into amateur microwaves?
4. What is your main amateur focus or plan now?
5. What skills or resources do you have to offer others at SBMS?
The intent is to make newcomers (like me...) aware of and remind old timers of the resources and capabilities that exist within the Society and to spin off productive and informative discussions like those at our 2019 Holiday Meeting (see photo at Links and Resources (w6ife.com) ) and other such get-togethers in past years. At the conclusion of the evening, pies will be provided in celebration of the holidays!
73 and look forward to seeing you all Thursday, Courtney N5BF SBMS President
Courtney Duncan is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
