The San Bernardino Microwave Society will meet on Cactus Intertie and on Zoom, Thursday October 1, 2020, 1900 PDT (10/2/20 0200 UTC).  The meeting will also be carried on Amateur Television Network and YouTube (search for "Amateur Television Network" Live).

Following the roll call and activity reports, the Technical Talk will be given by Michelle Thompson W5NYV on Developments in Open Source Amateur Satellite and Terrestrial Work.

Many technology innovations and opportunities are now emerging against a backdrop of significant challenge and change with respect to amateur radio in the areas of regulation, cognitive radio, forward error correction pre-eminence, new amateur radio platforms in space and new funding and coordination mechanisms such as ARDC and OSRI.
